Who you are:
You have a personal and professional growth-mindset and a passion for helping your clients, colleagues, and community. You are confident and enthusiastic, with a work-ethic and desire for overcoming challenges that driven your success throughout your academic and professional career.
While obtaining 5+ years of experience in public accounting and professional credentials (CPA), you have developed exceptional technical knowledge and an understanding of how to discuss complex matters with your clients and colleagues. Most importantly, you have a deep appreciation for the trust clients place in their professional advisors, and you sincerely enjoy earning that trust every day.
You will have also obtained in-depth knowledge of Canadian Auditing Standards, Canadian Standards on Review Engagements, ASPE, ASNPO, and Public Sector Accounting as it pertains to municipalities, or will be capable of applying your existing knowledge and experience to quickly obtain expertise in these areas.
What you will be responsible for:
- Leading client engagements, including a large portion of our firm’s assurance engagements
- Nurturing client relationships to better understand and appropriately advise them
- Mentoring and training team members to assist our growth strategy
- Developing internal and external informational presentations and training courses
- Involving yourself with local organizations striving to build a better community
- Proficiency with key industry-standard technologies (Karbon, Xero, Caseware, TaxPrep, etc.)
- Leading efforts to maintain and enhance our firm’s Quality Management System

Compensation
$100,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
